Upon opening a faint smell is released from the pack. This is normal and will disappear when the meat is exposed to the air. Extra care has been taken to remove bones, although some may remain.
For best results remove from refrigerator and remove from packaging for up to 20 minutes prior to cooking. Remove all packaging. Check products is piping hot before serving. Do not re-heat. For tenderness and succulence allow the steak to rest, uncovered in a warm place for 5-10 minutes after cooking. We have given you these cooking instructions as a guide only. Shallow Fry – From Chilled: Brush the steak with oil and season with salt and pepper (optional). Pre-heat your pan over a high heat, then reduce to medium and carefully place the steak in the pan and cook to your liking. Rare: 3 minutes on each side; Medium; 4 minutes on each side; Well done: 6-7 minutes on each side.
