Cooking Guidelines:
- Oven Cook – From Chilled:
For optimal results, take the lamb out of the refrigerator and allow it to rest at room temperature for up to 20 minutes before cooking. Remove all packaging. Preheat your oven to 190ºC/375ºF/Fan 170ºC/Gas Mark 5. Place the lamb in a roasting tin, cover with foil, and position it on the middle shelf of the oven. Halfway through cooking, remove the foil and continue roasting for the remaining time.- For medium: Cook for 25 minutes per 500g, plus an additional 25 minutes.
- For well-done: Cook for 30 minutes per 500g, plus an additional 30 minutes.
Ensure the meat is piping hot before serving. Do not reheat. For maximum tenderness and juiciness, allow the lamb to rest in a warm, uncovered spot for at least 5 minutes after cooking. These cooking instructions are intended as a general guide.
