A faint smell may be noticed when opening the package; this is completely normal and will disappear once the meat is exposed to air. While extra care has been taken to remove bones, some may still remain.

For best results, allow the meat to sit out of the refrigerator for up to 20 minutes before cooking. Remove all packaging. Preheat the oven to 160°C/325°F/Fan 150°C/Gas Mark 3. Heat a little oil in a frying pan over medium to high heat and brown the meat for 1-2 minutes to seal in the flavor and juices. Once browned, transfer the meat to an ovenproof dish, add stock, cover, and cook in the oven for 1 ½ – 2 hours. Alternatively, you can simmer it on the hob for the same amount of time. Ensure the product is thoroughly heated before serving. Do not reheat. For optimal tenderness and juiciness, let the lamb rest in a warm, uncovered place for at least 5 minutes after cooking.
