Upon opening a faint smell is released from the pack. This is normal and will disappear when the meat is exposed to the air. Extra care has been taken to remove bones, although some may remain.
Shallow Fry – From Chilled: For best results cook from chilled. Remove all packaging . Brush the chicken with oil and season with salt and pepper (optional). Pre-heat your frying pan over a high heat, open out the thigh fillets and carefully place in the dry pan. Cook for 9-11 minutes turning frequently to give an even colour. To ensure the chicken is fully cooked, insert a skewer into the thickest part of the meat. If the juices run clear, not pink, it is fully cooked through. Check product is piping hot before serving. Do not re-heat. For tenderness and succulence cover with foil and allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes after cooking. We have given you these cooking instructions as a guide only.
